HELLO AND Welcome TO THE ACTON COMMUNITY CENTER

There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.

Help Our Cause

Dear Friends of Acton Community Center,

The Acton Community Board of Directors are hoping you all are safe and healthy.  As COVID-19 continues, the future has never felt so unpredictable.  These are challenging times for all of us.

You may not be aware, the Acton Community Center is closed due to COVID-19 and all activities, rentals and fundraisers have been cancelled or postponed. We are doing everything possible to sustain our daily expenses, which includes paying the insurance, taxes, utilities and maintenance.

While there’s a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt fast to our changing reality. Now, more than ever, the Acton Community Center needs your help to maintain the Center so we can continue future events like the Bingo games, PaintNites, Spaghetti dinners, etc.

We are aware that many of you have challenges and we understand. If you are able, we could use your generosity in any amount to help us sustain our operations so we can hold future community events for you and your neighbors.  Remember, we are a 501c3 non-profit and donations are tax deductible.

Donations can be made on-line by clicking the "Donate Now" button  below.   PayPal and debit/credit cards are accepted.  If you prefer, you can mail a check to:

The Acton Community Club

P.O. Box 111

Acton, Ca 93510.

We are brainstorming for a future events for when we can all gather together again.  Your suggestions for events are welcome and appreciated.  Simply e-mail them to ActonCommunityCenter@gmail.com

Thank you for your support and we hope to see you soon at another one of our events.

Stay safe, stay well and Acton love

About Us

Acton Community Center

3748 West Nickels Ave., Acton, CA  93510

In 1950, the Palmdale Rotary deeded the land now known as the Acton Community Club  to Boy Scout Troop #145 in Acton. Since scout troops cannot own land, the Acton Community Club, Inc. was formed in 1955 to take title of the property.

There was one small building on the 2.5 acres, which is now the kitchen.  From 1979 to 1988, a larger building was built by the community, with donations of money, time and labor.   Later, outdoor amenities including landscaping was added.

The arena located on the same site, was constructed and is maintained by the Acton Rangers.

One of the stipulations in the Club's charter is that the building and premises needs to be available to all youth groups in the community free of charge. This has always been the case

The Acton Community Club, Inc.  sponsors and promotes many events throughout the year.  In addition, the clubhouse is the setting for a variety of events such as:

· Fundraisers,

· Weddings,

· Anniversaries,

· Memorial services,

· Community and organization meetings and more

 Board Meetings

Board meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Acton Community Center, 7:00 p.m., and the meetings are open to the public.
